vCard QR code generator

Fill in your details, download the QR code and put it on your business card: anyone who scans it saves your contact with one tap. Free, no sign-up.

Benefits

  • No account: fill in and download
  • Your data never leaves your browser
  • vCard 3.0, read by iPhone and Android without an app
  • SVG for the printer, PNG for screens
  • Error correction and quiet zone already set
  • No expiry: the contact lives inside the code

The code is generated in your browser: no data is sent to our servers.

Why it matters

A vCard QR code holds the contact details inside the pattern itself: name, company, role, phone, email and website. Whoever scans it with their camera sees the "Add contact" sheet straight away, without opening a web page. It works offline too, at a trade show or in a basement.

The flip side: the code is fixed. If a number or a role changes, cards already printed keep the old data. That is why many companies prefer a QR code that points to a digital business card: the printed code stays the same, the destination changes, and scans can be measured.

One simple rule for print: fewer details, coarser pattern, easier scanning. Fill in only the fields you really need, print the code at least 2 × 2 cm with a light margin around it, and test it with two or three phones before the file goes to the printer.

How it works

  1. 1

    Fill in the fields

A name or a company is enough; phone, email and website are optional.

  2. 2

    Check the preview

The code updates as you type. The less you enter, the coarser and easier to read the pattern stays.

  3. 3

    Download and print

SVG for the printer, PNG for screens and office printers. At least 2 × 2 cm on the card, with a light margin around it.

FAQ

Do I need to sign up?

No. The generator is free to use and asks for no email or account. If you later want a QR code with your logo and colors, or one that stays current after printing, that is part of bizCARD.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere: the code is computed in your browser and nothing is sent to our servers. Close the page and the data is gone.

Does a vCard QR code expire?

No. The data is written into the code itself, so it works forever and without a connection. It cannot be edited, though: to change the details you regenerate and reprint it.

Can I change the details after printing?

Not with a vCard QR code. If you want a code printed once that always stays current, use a QR code pointing to your bizCARD digital card: you change the destination in the app.

Can I add a logo and colors?

This tool produces a black-on-white code, the safest for print. Logo in the center, brand colors and module shapes are in the bizCARD QR generator, which sets the required error correction automatically.
