What does a digital business card cost for 10, 50 and 500 employees?

Updated on September 23, 2026

In short

For 10 people, per-user platforms cost around CHF 41 per month for cards alone; bizCARD Business is CHF 149 for the whole team with signatures, QR codes, links and appointments included. For 50 and 500 people, per-user prices grow linearly (500 × USD 5 = USD 2,500 per month), so ask for an Enterprise quote and compare it with the full stack.

What are you actually paying for: per user or per team?

Almost every international provider prices digital business cards per user: around USD 5 per user per month on a team plan billed annually, often with a minimum of three to five seats. Add-ons follow the same logic: email signatures USD 1.5–2 per user per month, appointment booking USD 12–16; only QR code generators (USD 9–29 per month) and short links (USD 22–40) are flat. Public list prices, September 2026, converted at USD 1 ≈ CHF 0.83.

bizCARD prices per team, in Swiss francs: Team CHF 49 per month for up to 5 people, Business CHF 149 for up to 20, Enterprise on request. Every plan includes digital cards, email signatures, branded QR codes, short links, appointment booking and print-ready paper cards. A year costs ten monthly prices: two months free.

What does it cost for 10 people?

Ten people exceed the Team plan, so the bizCARD option is Business at CHF 149 per month. A comparable stack of per-user tools, per month on annual billing:

NeedPer-user tools (10 people)bizCARD Business
Digital cards10 × USD 5 = USD 50 ≈ CHF 41included
Email signatures10 × USD 1.5–2 = USD 15–20 ≈ CHF 12–17included
QR codesUSD 9–29 flat ≈ CHF 7–24included
Short linksUSD 22–40 flat ≈ CHF 18–33included
Appointment booking10 × USD 12–16 = USD 120–160 ≈ CHF 100–133included
TotalUSD 216–299 ≈ CHF 179–248CHF 149

Be honest with the numbers. Ten people who only need digital cards pay far less per user: about CHF 41 against CHF 149. With signatures, QR codes and short links the stack is still lower on paper, roughly CHF 80–115, but you now run four tools and four invoices. Add appointment booking and it costs as much as the platform or more, before any admin time is counted.

What does it cost for 50 people?

Fifty people exceed the Business plan (20 people), so bizCARD offers Enterprise on request, with single sign-on via Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace, SCIM provisioning so cards follow joiners and leavers, and a custom domain.

The per-user alternative: 50 × USD 5 = USD 250 per month (≈ CHF 208) for cards alone; with signatures (USD 75–100) and appointment booking (USD 600–800) a full stack lands at USD 956–1,219 per month, about CHF 790–1,010. Compare the Enterprise quote with that figure, not with the Business list price.

What does it cost for 500 people?

At 500 people, per-user pricing dominates: 500 × USD 5 = USD 2,500 per month for cards alone, USD 30,000 a year, around CHF 24,900, before signatures or appointments. Even with a volume discount, the bill moves with headcount.

bizCARD's Enterprise plan is priced per company, not per seat. More important than the quote is what you avoid: with SCIM, 500 cards are created and retired from the directory, not by hand; a custom domain keeps them on your brand; one contract in CHF replaces a stack of USD subscriptions.

Which hidden costs are missing from the price list?

  • Reprinting paper cards at every change of role, number or address.
  • Admin time: creating and updating cards one by one, in the platform and again in the signature tool. With 500 people it is a job.
  • Joiners and leavers: without directory sync, someone must remember to create and deactivate every card by hand. Forgotten cards keep advertising a former employee under your logo.
  • Separate tools: four subscriptions mean four renewals, four data protection reviews and four places to update the logo.

How do you compare offers? A checklist

  • Per user or per team, and what happens when you grow past a tier?
  • Minimum seats and the discount for annual billing.
  • Are signatures, QR codes, short links, appointments and print-ready cards included?
  • At which tier do you get SSO and SCIM, and is it priced per user?
  • CHF or USD, Swiss or foreign law, where the data is stored.
  • What happens to cards, links and printed QR codes if you cancel?
  • How many admin hours per month go into creating, updating and retiring cards?

Frequently asked questions

Is per-user pricing always more expensive?

No. A small team that only needs digital cards pays less per user: about CHF 41 per month for ten people, against CHF 149 for bizCARD Business. Per-team pricing pays off once several modules and admin time count.

Why is there no list price for 50 or 500 people?

Because beyond 20 people the requirements differ: SSO, SCIM provisioning, custom domain, contract terms. bizCARD quotes Enterprise on request; compare it with the per-user stack, which grows linearly with headcount.

How much does annual billing save?

With bizCARD a year costs ten monthly prices, so two months are free. Most international providers also discount annual billing; the averages here assume it.

Can we start small and upgrade later?

Yes. Free (CHF 0) covers one card, Solo (CHF 15) two, Team (CHF 49) up to 5 people, Business (CHF 149) up to 20. When the team grows, you move up.

Are printed business cards included in the price?

Every plan generates print-ready paper cards from the same contact data as the digital card, so name, role and QR code always match. Printing itself is not included.
